Strabismus

Strabismus is defined as the loss of alignment between the eyes.
When eye alignment is not developed during childhood, the eyes may not develop normal vision, and 3D vision may also fail to develop.
There are 3 main types of strabismus:
Convergent strabismus or esotropia: when one eye is turned inward (toward the nose).
Divergent strabismus or exotropia: when one eye is turned outward.
Vertical strabismus: when one eye is turned upward (hypertropia) or downward (hypotropia).
